“It is an honor to serve on the Flynn Fellowship Home’s board of directors. The expertise and energy that our Executive Director, Mr. McLean, has brought to the home has been amazing to experience by the board, but most importantly the residents. For men who have committed to changing their lives through sobriety, the Flynn Fellowship Home will provide a solid foundation for their recovery. Change is not easy; however, with our program’s 12-Step recovery centered program and compassionate leadership many miracles have occurred at the Flynn Fellowship Home throughout the decades….and
will certainly continue for many years to come. ”
Darry Withers, Board of
Directors

“The Flynn Fellowship Home in Gastonia played a significant role in my getting sober. I truly believe God gave me a second chance at life when he led me to the Flynn Home, and I do not know where I would be without them. Before finding the Flynn Home, I was dying from alcoholism, homeless, and had nowhere to turn. The Flynn Home took me in and showed me a new way of life. It introduced me to recovery and helped me build a strong foundation to maintain sobriety. Flynn Home just didn’t help get me sober; it turned my whole life around; it was “the” steppingstone to getting me where I am today. I learned a lot during my time there, and I will be forever grateful to the Flynn home and its staff.“

Flynn Home Helped Me in So Many Ways
Before I found the Flynn home I felt like nobody understood what it was like to be trapped in active alcoholism. The choices I made during active addiction caused me to lose everything including my kids. I found myself hopeless & I had no idea where to go. After multiple trips to hospitals & detox centers I found the Flynn home. I soon found out that I wasn’t alone after all. After sticking around for a while & following the program, I met so many people that understood exactly how I felt. Not long after I realized that this program was working in my life. Today I have my family back, a great career, and a peace of mind. I’m not waking up every morning Physically & mentally sick. The Flynn home saved my life and the people I’ve met along the way helped me in so many ways. There is a way out of that life. –Eli
